BATi's Photonics Group combines its expertise in optics, fiber-optics, and packaging to produce low cost and high performance photonic products for applications ranging from fiber optic communications to optical sensors and instrumentation. BTAi's technology is protected by more than 30 US and international patents and patent disclosures.
With many years' development effort and a group of industry pioneers, BATi has established a unique leading position in designing, manufacturing and marketing a variety of light and polarization management components for the telecommunications and instrumentation markets.Besides its materials and photonic business, BATi has since 2007 strongly engaged in imaging and astronomical industries through its subsidiaries, iOptron Corporation (USA) and iOptron Scientific (China).
Based upon our strong material foundation and expertise in micro-optic device and packaging design, Boston Applied Technologies Incorporated (and its former entity, Corning Applied Technologies) developed a variety of photonic materials and components for telecommunication and instrumentation applications.
