Rosetta Announces IRD Prints from its Deployed Systems Crosses One Billion

Rosetta Technologies, a leading provider of MICR printers and check and Image Replacement Document (IRD) software solutions, announced that customers using Rosetta’s IRDPrint software and MICR printers had collectively printed more than one billion IRDs. This threshold was crossed last month, according to meter readings collected from deployed systems.

Lockheed Martin Clears NASA Critical Design Review for Solar Ultraviolet Imager

The Lockheed Martin (NYSE: LMT) team, awarded a contract by NASA in 2007 to design and build the agency's Solar Ultraviolet Imager (SUVI) for the Geostationary Operational Environmental Satellite (GOES)-R Series, has met the requirements of a Critical Design Review. The review was conducted last week at the Lockheed Martin Space Systems Advanced Technology Center (ATC) in Palo Alto by a group of multi-disciplinary experts from NASA and NOAA, as well as a number of independent reviewers. The SUVI instrument will be built at the ATC under the management of the company's Sensing & Exploration Systems organization.

BancTec Enters Deal with SkanSerwis to Establish Network in Poland

Eastman Kodak Receives FTC Clearance for Promotion of its All-in-One Inkjet Printers

Eastman Kodak Company (NYSE:EK) today announced that the company has received notification from the Federal Trade Commission’s Division of Advertising Practices (FTC) allowing Kodak to continue to advertise that consumers can “Save on average $110 per year on ink” with KODAK All-in-One inkjet printers. Kodak accepted the FTC’s recommendation that the company disclose more prominently that a consumer will achieve the stated average cost savings by printing only four pages per day or 1,500 pages per year. The FTC indicated that no further action is warranted at this time and that their investigation is now closed.
