Preparation and Study of Thin Films for Photovoltaic Applications

Through the thesis "Preparation and study of thin films for photovoltaic applications" presented at the Universitat Jaume I, Teodor Krassimirov is aiming to make the development of efficient solar panels easier and cheaper. In this thesis, he proposes the use of more economic synthesis methods using sulphur-based compounds (chalcopyrites) as an alternative to the ones used up until now.

OSRAM Opto Semiconductors has developed the smallest RGB Multi ChipLED especially for high-resolution full-color video screens with large diagonals and small viewing distances. The LED is housed in a black package that reflects hardly any ambient light at all. The LED emits light in brilliant colors with excellent contrast.
