DOMINANT's Primax Designed to Provide High Intensity Light Output in a Very Small Package

DOMINANT's newest LED product series, Primax, is designed to provide high intensity light output in a very small package optimized for applications where space is a premium. In order to fulfill market demand and to complete the Primax product portfolio, DOMINANT is now extending the series with 0.5 Watt white versions, NAW-BSG! With its high flux output and suasive luminous intensity, our Primax overruns today's standard lighting technology and its perception.

With an operating current of 150mA, this new generation LED is able to achieve 24lm/W with low thermal resistance. The Primax package has a compact size of just 3.5mm (L) x 3.5mm (W) x 1.2mm (H) and a wide viewing angle of 120?.

This small package outline and its high intensity, paired with an excellent efficiency provided by our Primax series gives prove of being the ideal choice for backlighting (button, LCD display), signage and decorative lighting. This outstanding LED series also enhances and supports to a great extend creative illuminations in General Lighting, Channel Lighting and high sophisticated automotive applications.

Engineering samples are available now for this device whereas mass-production starts by end of April 2009.
