Actually, a recent survey requested by Ketra and conducted by Harris Poll shows that approximately nine out of 10 Americans (89%) say that exposure to natural light has a major/reasonable positive impact on mood, while 87% state that exposure to natural light has a positive impact on alertness, productivity, and brain function. Approximately eight in 10 Americans (79%) state that they wish they could be outdoors during the day for more time and get more exposure to natural light.
The survey also highlights a market desire: Approximately three out of four Americans (73%) say that they are ready to pay more for light bulbs if they knew the bulbs would influence their health in a positive manner.
