Nikon has released a new improved digital camera called with Nikon 1 J2 with interchangeable lenses. Nikon 1 cameras are equipped with an improved high-speed and high-definition hybrid AF system that offers quality still pictures and movies. The system works well even under dim light.
Motion Snapshot and Smart Photo Selector are features through which users can realize the maximum potential of EXPEED 3 concept incorporated in the J2, which with the high-speed processing yields high-quality still photographs as well as full-HD movies. In Motion Snapshot mode, special moments in people’s lives can be captured in slow motion and the stills capture them for posterity. Smart Photo Selector chooses the best still photo among many shots captured, which is useful when it comes to selection of photos taken of moving targets.
The camera has a lightweight Nikon 1 lens mount and compact body. The metal Nikon 1 J2 comes in six vibrant colours. The J2 can be turned off and on easily with the retractable lens barrel button that features in certain compatible lenses. Monitor clarity is augmented with a high-resolution, 921-k dot LCD monitor, which proffers wide viewing angles.
Creative mode provides a choice from among eight ways of image expression: Night Landscape, Night Portrait, Easy Panorama, Backlighting, Soft, Miniature Effect, Selective Colour and four exposure modes. One can rotate the mode dial and select the mode for shooting.
Nikon is simultaneously launching an improved zoom lens that is lighter and smaller than the currently available lens along with the new water-resistant case, WP-N1. This water-resistant feature makes underwater photography and movie-making an enjoyable experience.
