TerraLUX Secures Approval for Con Edison Commercial and Industrial Energy Efficiency Market Partner Program

The Con Edison Commercial and Industrial Energy Efficiency Market Partner Program has accepted TerraLUX, a company specializing in LED-based lighting solutions for various illumination applications.

As part of this program, in New York City, building managers and designers can now utilize TerraLUX’s advanced LED solutions as a replacement option or a rebate qualifying retrofit.

Matthew Sallee, Business Manager for LED Retrofit at TerraLUX, stated that through LED lighting, commercial buildings can save energy as well as return on investments within a few months. He added that they are pleased to help the New York City to save energy.

TerraLUX products are developed to reduce energy and costs without compromising on the lighting efficiency. The TerraLUX Linear LED Engine is suitable for a wide variety of applications because of its plug and play option.

The Linear LED Engine provides 100 lm/inch, ranging from steplights and cove lights to wallpacks and sconces. The Linear LED Engine costs only $4 per year to operate for 10.2 hours per day using only 8 W of power. It can be installed in five minutes. For upgrading to the Linear LED Engine products, Con Ed offers rebates from $0.75 to $1.50 per foot for de-lamping and $10.00 to $72.00 for fixtures.
