Teleste to Demonstrate at ANGA Cable Conference 2012

Teleste will exhibit a number of new products and solutions based on its Intelligent Networks offering during the ANGA Cable conference. ANGA Cable 2012 will be hosted from 12 to 14 June 2012 in Cologne.

Some of the major products and solutions to be demonstrated by Teleste during the event include:

• Access Networks including Teleste AC8700, the first intelligent deep fibre optical node with high capacity automatic adjustment and adaptation capability with respect to various network demands; The DOCSIS transponder for the AC9000 node that can enhance the capacity of existing networks. It promotes increased upstream signal, ensuring longer fibre links. CXE family of fibre optic network devices has extended its product family to include the CXE860 universal optical node, CXE810 optical receiver as well as CXE852 dual optical receiver with remote management. New downstream C-band optical transmission HDO-modules including the HDO772 fibre transmitter with the HDO750 series optical amplifiers.
• Headend offering encompassing new Teleste Optimo transcoder for broadcast IPTV, Cable TV, and OTT applications. Optimo launches adaptive streaming with multiscreen transcoding as well as advanced image enhancement that promote efficiency. Luminato head-end platform will be improved with an FEC codec module.
• Network Services that will enable operators to design, maintain and develop cable networks. Besides its establishment in the German, Teleste Network Services has been expanded within European countries. It enables minimizing the network infrastructure lifespan costs and improved business.
• Network Genius iPad game is the world’s unique offering that features cable network maintenance in an iPad game. The game reflects the significant features of intelligent networks concepts, where the players will be tested for their skills by being challenged with network complexities. Teleste will run a leader board during the event, which will be followed by awarding the winner. The game is compatible on iPads and can be downloaded from iTunes App Store.
