First Light Technologies Unveils its WLB Series Solar LED Bollard at 2012 LIGHTFAIR

First Light Technologies declared the launch of its WLB Series Solar LED Bollard that will be widely used for landscaping applications, low-level architectural and commercial way finding.

WLB Series Solar LED Bollard

First Light Technologies’ WLB Series Solar LED Bollard has been designed to comply with large commercial client’s landscaping requirements. The design needed improvement in terms of modesty and sufficient lighting, and lighting features to be compatible with high-end architectural aesthetics.

The improved design reflects virtually durable features with proprietary Energy Management System (EMS) technology. This design is suitable for all environments and complex conditions such as low-solar weather patterns or abnormal charging conditions.

The WLB includes latest generation of solar LED lights that is more cost-effective than traditional wired lighting. It also includes added advantages such as:

  • A visibly green statement with no frequent carbon emissions.
  • Low installed cost and minimal site impact without wiring, trenching, or cabling.
  • Protects from power outages.
  • Reduced ongoing costs with no electrical bills, eliminating the need for bulb replacement.

The WLB Series Solar LED Bollard is available in a unique, robust design measuring 9-in and 34-in. Five optional factory-set lighting profiles ensure automatic turning on at dusk and off at dawn. Furthermore, customizable alternatives provide lighting during power shut-down or late-night dimming.

Based on its broad-range solar power system and LED lighting expertise, First Light Technologies offer simple and affordable solar solutions to the lighting markets.

First Light Technologies’ new WLB Series Solar LED Bollard and the PLB Series Solar LED Bollard were displayed from May 9 – 11, 2012, at LIGHTFAIR International (LFI), held at Las Vegas Convention Centre, Las Vegas, NV.
