Nularis Introduces LED Light Bulbs that Look Like Traditional Bulbs
US based LED lighting company, Nularis has introduced a range of LED bulbs which are similar to the traditional halogen or incandescent bulbs in appearance. A survey conducted by Nularis revealed that many customers would prefer LED bulbs to look like the traditional bulbs.
LEDs With A "Classic" Incandescent Look From Nularis
The company is offering this Classic collection on its online store. The range includes models such as the Look PAR38 with a capacity of more than 900 lm or approximately 75 W in terms of an incandescent bulb. The bulbs provide a 120 degree beam angle which enables the light to be spread equally across the room.
Other LED bulbs in the market use 12 to 15 W to produce the same amount of light and many tend to give a spotlight effect. The introduction of the new line will enable consumers to save more energy than other LED bulbs. These bulbs are also able to provide the same rich warm lighting that is given by traditional incandescent bulbs but at the same time use 90% less power than the traditional bulbs. The Classic look line also comes in the form of the regular frosted light bulb which is equivalent in looks and usage to a 40 W incandescent bulb.
According to the Vice President of Nularis, consumers expect light bulbs using new technology to look like traditional bulbs. He also added that the new technology in LED light bulbs can retain the same appearance. The Classic Look line is now available in both wholesale and retail at a substantial discount.
