Provider of process characterization software and equipment, Rudolph Technologies announced that is has ventured into the LED industry by securing new orders from a US-based company for its ProcessWORKS and ARTIST process control software.
In addition, the US firm has also placed orders for its AutoShell factory automation software. Rudolph offers software and equipment for the solar and microelectronics manufacturing industries.
Rudolph has also delivered its Discover Enterprise Data Analysis Software and Explorer Automated Macro Defect Inspection System to a global LED manufacturer.
The Marketing Vice President at Rudolph, Ardy Johnson stated that the company provides a range of data analysis; metrology and inspection technologies that facilitate large-scale LED manufacturers to know the causes of yield loss and defects in their front and back-end procedures. Johnson added that knowledge about such processes is vital for attaining the required reliability and performance.
