Glimmerglass to Showcase Intelligent Optical, Photonic Switching Systems at ECOC 2010

Supplier of optical layer management products, Glimmerglass Networks, will showcase new optical, photonic switching products at the European Conference and Exhibition on Optical Communication (ECOC) 2010.

The company will display the products along with Laser 2000. The ECOC conference focuses on upcoming optical communication technologies such as 100 Gbps headband and Ethernet access, modulation plans for high-speed data transmission and latest fiber-based components.

The intelligent optical layer systems from Glimmerglass allow service providers to quickly reconfigure the optical layer. The systems speed up time-to-service process, reduce OPEX and SLA penalties and enhance network availability.
