Features
BeamSquared M2 Propagation Analyzer
The BeamSquared is a small, fully automated instrument for assessing the propagation properties of pulsed and continuous-wave laser systems across UV, NIR, and telecom wavelengths.

BeamSquared Automated ISO Set-Up
The Auto ISO measurement function of the BeamSquared software is explained in this video. It makes getting an ISO-compliant beam measurement as simple as "align and click."

Automatic M2 at Production Speeds
The BeamSquared optical train consists of a fixed-position lens, moveable mirrors, and a camera. The mirrors that send the focused beam into the camera are precisely positioned to translate the beam through the near-field, waist, and far-field areas.
The BeamSquared software automatically controls all of these measurements, translations, and gradual beam attenuation. Design enhancements in the BeamSquared system have reduced measurement reporting time by two to three times, allowing for M2 reporting in under a minute.
Manual M2
Manual mode is available for wavelengths larger than NIR, namely, Terahertz and above, as well as beams that are too large or too narrow for the BeamSquared optical system. Users must provide manual translation/attenuation equipment.

BeamSquared computes propagation characteristics in both the X and Y axes and shows the following parameters:
- Mֺ2 or K and BPP factors
- Astigmatism
- Asymmetry
- Waist diameters
- Full angle divergences
- Waist locations
- Rayleigh lengths
BeamSquared can be installed horizontally or vertically to make the most of available bench space. The laser beam input port has the same dimensions with any mounting technique, X = Y.
