Software
PC Software and Drivers
This section explains the several software options and methods for connecting the Ophir meter to the PC.
StarLab
The StarLab application, paired with an Ophir meter, converts a PC or laptop into a full-fledged laser power/energy meter. Most Ophir laser power/energy sensors are supported; on a single PC, up to eight sensors can be shown simultaneously.
Users can manage the device in their own application using the Ophir COM Object. Centauri, StarBright, StarLite, Juno, Juno+, Juno-RS, Nova II, Vega, Pulsar-1/2/4, Quasar, EA-1, and Ariel devices are all supported.
LabVIEW
The majority of Ophir's USB-connected devices (Centauri, StarBright, StarLite, Juno, Juno+, Nova-II, Pulsar, Vega) come with a library that provides a full measuring interface. LabVIEW uses Ophir's new COM object.
StarViewer
StarViewer transforms a smartphone running iOS or Android into a portable Ophir laser power/energy measurement device.
StarViewer's iOS version is compatible with the Ariel sensor. Ariel, Juno, and Quasar interfaces are compatible with the Android version of StarViewer.

If all laser measurement work is done on a laptop or PC rather than on a standalone meter, one of Ophir's direct-to-PC connections might be the perfect solution.
These are full-featured laser power and energy meters; rather than having a separate on-board display, the PC serves as the display. In this video, users will learn about Ophir’s spectrum of PC interfaces.
