Highlights from Samsung’s 2016 lineup of displays, optimized for use in retail, QSR, hospitality, corporate, entertainment and more, will be shown in Booth #1810 at the Las Vegas Convention Center from March 16-17.

Samsung OHD Series SMART Signage displays deliver a premium signage solution that can increase brand awareness, improve traffic and enhance revenue. These IP56 certified high-brightness (up to 3,000 nit), high-contrast (5000:1) displays provide exceptionally clear picture quality, even in bright environments, while maximizing durability in harsh conditions (including exposure to dust, water and heat), 24/7. The display’s easy-to-integrate content management platform features HDBase-T connection, the SoC-based Smart Signage Platform (SSP) and Samsung MagicInfo solutions for responsive and real-time business messaging deployment. OHD Series displays also employ energy efficient technology to minimize the increased power consumption of a high-brightness screen, and come equipped with advanced connectivity technology that enables convenient display management in remote locations.
The OMD-K Series offers a panel kit for installing the display within a customized housing in an outdoor environment for all-weather durability, such as drive-thru locations, wayfinding kiosks and entertainment venues. The panels are VESA compliant to easily mount inside a custom enclosure.

Optimized for a range of indoor retail, corporate and public-viewing applications, Samsung’s new professional-grade, extreme narrow bezel (1.4mm bezel-to-bezel) UH55F-E video walls combine advanced color management capabilities with the visual enhancements of large-format signage, to deliver clear and consistent content. Each UHF-E video wall display undergoes factory calibration and tuning to prevent brightness and color accuracy irregularities, and ensures viewers receive messages without visual distraction. The UHF-E displays accommodate UHD content up to a 5x5 configuration.
Samsung’s UHF-E display features an extremely thin bezel-to-bezel design (0.9mm on the upper and left sides, 0.5mm on the lower and right sides) that keeps viewers focused on the content rather than the display itself. Equipped with the same durability and color presentation components as its predecessors, the UHF-E video wall represents a sleek, stylish alternative for delivering uninterrupted content in most indoor environments.
Samsung’s indoor fine pixel pitch SMART LED displays deliver compelling content and seamless video wall configurations. Samsung’s direct view fine pixel pitch LED offerings feature top-tier diodes and customizable pixel pitch compositions ranging from 1.5 to 2.5mm, providing seamless visibility while simultaneously accommodating users’ specific operational needs. Combined with design elements that produce the same deep contrast, realistic picture quality and color consistency viewers expect from Samsung’s latest televisions, the LED signage portfolio offers users an extra edge to stand out within often-crowded indoor environments.
Following its 2015 acquisition of Prismview, formerly YESCO Electronics, Samsung offers a complete lineup of LED display solutions for indoor and outdoor use, ranging from 4mm to 24mm pixel pitch.

Available in Q2 2016, Samsung’s 55-inch ML55E Mirror Display and 55-inch TO55E Transparent OLED Display enable greater interaction and drive point-of-purchase shopping. Ideal for retail environments, the ML55E Mirror Display’s reflectance (up to 55 percent), high transmittance (up to 90 percent) and frameless design provides new avenues to refine and deliver content ranging from welcome messaging to special limited-time offers. The TO55E Transparent OLED Display offers customers complete product visibility in an engaging and informative format. It delivers demos and real-time promotional content with improved brightness (150nit), transparency (up to 45 percent) and color presentation (Adobe RGB up to 100 percent).
Empowering retailers to obtain insight into customer spending habits, likes and interests, Samsung’s MagicInfo Audience Measurement camera is a new audience analytics solution that works in concert with Samsung SMART Signage displays and MagicInfo Software to gather customer data anonymously. Using this tool, businesses can obtain customer-profiling data through a face recognition camera placed on the display. In turn, businesses can engage customers with targeted information and encourage interaction through public opinion questions, polling and more. Samsung Audience Measurement will be available in Q2 2016.
