NEC Display Debuts V332X and V332W Projectors for Education, Business Markets

NEC Display Solutions of America, a leading provider of commercial LCD display and projector solutions, today announced the V332X and V332W, affordable projectors for the education and business markets.

The 3,300-lumen projectors come with Dual HDMI inputs for connection to HD data and video sources. HDMI1 with MHL makes connection to smart phones and tablets simple without the need for expensive interfaces. Boasting a new V Series chassis, the V332X (1024 x 768 XGA resolution) and V332W (1280 x 800 WXGA resolution) also offer horizontal and vertical keystone correction for squaring images and installation flexibility. The projectors deliver longer lamp life than previous models and 10,000:1 contrast ratios too.

“With the V332X and V332W projectors joining their V Series 1080p counterpart, NEC Display now delivers a complete series of affordable, bright projectors, and greater options for the education and business markets,” said Bob Guentner, Senior Product Manager of Projectors at NEC Display. “The projectors also support 3D computing and 3D over HDMI, which enable the display of more immersive content by schools and businesses.”

In addition, the models offer an “intuitive” remote control, which provides one-touch source changes and complete menu control. And they give users easy-to-use network management and control features from any PC or Mac device.

Among the other benefits of the V332X and V332W projectors:

  • Quick Start allowing the projector to be ready for use in seconds
  • BrilliantColor™ advanced video processing delivering exceptional picture management control
  • Crestron Roomview compatibility provides unified management of multiple projectors
  • 8W speakers
  • ECO Mode™ technology, which increases lamp life up to 6,000 hours, while lowering audible noise, power consumption and maintenance costs
  • Filter-free design lowers maintenance intervals

The V332X and V332W projectors are available in August 2015 at an estimated street price of $579 and $649, respectively. Each ships with a 2-year limited parts and labor warranty.
