New 450W Explosion Proof High Bay I-Beam Mount LED Light Fixture from Larson Electronics

Longtime leader in commercial and industrial grade lighting equipment Larson Electronics announces the release of an explosion proof high bay light fixture that provides operators with a powerful and energy efficient alternative to traditional hazardous location luminaries.

EPL-IBM-3X150LED-RT Explosion Proof I-Beam mount light fixture

This Class 1 Division 1 & 2, Class 2 Division 1 & 2 I-beam mount explosion proof light fixture provides 37,500 lumens of high quality light while drawing only 450 watts. The copper free aluminum alloy body is powder coated for added durability and an attractive aesthetic appearance. A special heat dissipating design in conjunction with LED technology helps this fixture achieve an excellent 60,000 hour rated lifespan with 80% lumen retention. Light weight and a low profile make this unit an attractive alternative to larger and heavier older fixtures and requires much less hardware to install. This light is multi-voltage capable and can be operated with 100-277 VAC. The aluminum body and LED lamp give this light excellent durability and resistance to vibration and impacts. The housing is specially designed to dissipate heat which increases the efficiency and lifespan of the LED luminaries. It is IP67 rated, dust-proof, and protected against high pressure jets and temporary submersion. The EPL-IBM-3X150LED-RT specially designed I-beam mount allows operators to install this high bay light fixture on existing I-beams via nine pre-drilled holes. After installation, operators can tilt the light 90° in both directions, allowing for precise aiming.

“This LED light produces 37,500 lumens of light with a color rendering index of 75 which produces colors and details much more accurately than high pressure sodium or mercury vapor luminaires,” Rob Bresnahan, with Larsonelectronics.com said. “The cast aluminum body and LED technology give this light excellent durability and resistance to vibrations and impacts. The housing is specially designed to dissipate heat which increases the efficiency and lifespan of the luminaire.”
