The EPL-SL-5-5X-FL1524-LED hazardous area LED string light set is U.L. Class 1 Division 1 & 2 approved. The 2’ long 15 watt LED tube lamps on this light set provide higher quality light than higher wattage incandescent light. This five lamp string light set comes complete with a 35’ long 12/3 SOOW backbone for long range and convenient operation. Each lamp on this stringer features a rugged, non-sparking aluminum casting and unique rod cage and produces cool, glare-free, shadowless light that improves safety in hazardous locations and maximizes lighting efficiency with built-in metal reflectors. Five feet of 12/3 SOOW cable between each junction provides sufficient space between lamps and ends with a 10’ whip terminated in an explosion proof plug. Each lamp is equipped with 2’ of 16/3 SOOW between the lamp and the junction. The high light output, good light color and evenness of coverage makes these string lights ideal for a wide variety of close quarter work and inspection activities. These lamps are universal voltage and can operate on a range of voltages from 110 volts to 277 volts. The lamps have no ballast, which reduces lamp weight, has an impact resistant tube shield with specially designed annealed glass, and an aluminum hook for easy overhead mounting.
“We have redesigned these hand lamps by using a molded T connector to connect each hand lamp instead of an aluminum junction box,” Rob Bresnahan with Larsonelectronics.com said. “This improvement has made our hand lamps lighter in weight and easier to manage. Each molded T connector has an integrated eyelet making it easier to hang each connection above the ground.”
