LG Electronics Launches Newest LED Digital Signage Range at Infocomm 2012

LG Electronics is set to launch its latest LED digital signage range consisting of transparent LED display, superior-brightness outdoor display and 72” class monitor amongst others in the US market by displaying its collection at InfoComm 2012 at Booth C7926. All LED displays from LG comply with ENERGY STAR requirements and are environment-friendly.

The new range is designed to standout with its Full HD 1080p displays fitted with edge-lit or full back-lit LED configurations, which ensure outstanding picture quality and information relay. These commercial displays are specifically manufactured for venue operators and enterprise owners to assist them in creating interactive and appealing experiences for consumers, said Y.K. Cho, B2B the Senior Vice President of LG Electronics USA.

The In-Plane Switching (IPS) panel technology built into this range provides precise contrast and color saturation at vertical and horizontal off-angle viewing and enables the display to be installed at any height or angle. It also has temperature tolerance of about 2300F, thereby preventing issues due to overheating and picture damage.

The full LED backlighting models are provided with local dimming feature for better lighting control which allows parts of the LED array behind the screen to be able to dim or turn off completely. This results in rich blacks and brighter colors for improved color and contrast accuracy ensuring integrity of picture quality even in extreme lighting conditions.
