Innovative µCT Inspection System to be Displayed at MD+M West 2012

Nordson’s unit, Nordson DAGE declares that its inspection system will be displayed in the MD&M West Conference and Expo, to be held between February 14 and 16, 2012 at the Anaheim Convention Center in Anaheim, CA.

The ìCT Inspection system of Nordson DAGE will be exhibited at the Expo. Nordson DAGE X-ray inspection systems are improved through the 2-D X-ray investigations provided by the Computerized Tomography (CT) functionality. In order to design the advanced CT models, Nordson DAGE X-ray inspection systems employ the highly developed, sub-micron feature identification of 2-D X-ray images offered by Nordson DAGE X-ray systems. The resulting innovative CT models have wide applications for internal dimensional measurements, 3-D sample analysis, and virtual micro-sectioning.

With this new approach, the number of time-consuming micro-section analyses has been minimized. This facilitates the recognition based on micro-section preparation and investigation. The µCT inspection potential is being offered as a retro-fit or with a system order in order to furnish the application and workflow requirements.
