LG Introduces Energy-Efficient LED Monitors

Consumer electronics giant, LG has expanded its enterprise monitor portfolio with the launch of two energy-saving LED monitors.

According to the company, the E10 monitors are available in a 19² screen with an image ratio of 4:3 and in a 22² screen with an image ratio of 16:10. The monitors also feature D-Sub inputs, DVI, USB and integrated speakers.

The LED displays are free from halogen and mercury and meet the criteria of the Energy Star 5. The E10 monitors feature a new backlight system, which will save 44% of energy, according to the company.

In the past, LG has faced severe environmental issues related to its products and failed to eliminate toxic substances such as brominated flame retardants. LG claimed that the E10 displays comply with EPEAT Gold specifications.
