Thinklogical Launches Fiber-Optic KVM Extenders for Mission Critical Environments

Provider of fiber-optic KVM switching technologies, Thinklogical has started shipping the VelocityT-Series of fiber-optic KVM extenders. The new range of products utilizes a chassis design and features a dual interface and power supply.

Fiber Optic KVM Extenders

The Velocity T-4200 KVM extension solution supports two Single-Link DVI displays, full duplex stereo audio, serial (RS-232) and PS2. The model also features an optional USB 2.0 and USB 1.0 device ports and various video features such as single and dual displays, RGB support and dual-link. The system, by utilizing single-mode or multi-mode fiber, enables users to locate peripherals and DVI monitors through a fiber.

The VelocityT-Series offers high reliability with features and functions that are crucial for mission critical environments. The system architecture offers current sharing power supply modules, which is vital for high up-time environments. The unit’s modular design enables it to be configured as a transceiver, receiver and transmitter for various applications.
