LASER COMPONENTS Launches LT-VA-5 Laser-Optical Alignment System

LASER COMPONENTS has introduced a new laser-based system that includes a battery pack, a precision laser, and a target.

The LT-VA-5 alignment system is suitable for measurement applications in railway, automotive, aircraft construction as well as for the alignment of linear guides, coordinate tables, and machines.

The laser system delivers accurate alignment quickly. The laser beam is directed above an object that is to be measured. A deviation originating from the ideal line is shown in two axes simultaneously, when the target is moved along the beam over the object. Through this principle, the position, offsets and parallelism can be calculated.

The built-in lens in the target enlarges the deviation fivefold from the specified ideal line of the laser. The laser is positioned parallel to the axis and can be operated using the included battery pack. In addition, the housing of the laser system complies with laser class 2 eye safety standards.
