Indian Central Railway has announced a new way to illuminate the facade of Dadar station. The facade will feature LEDs that will enhance the aesthetics of the station.
A senior official of Central Railway stated that the lighting would be completed using adjustable colour-lighting projectors, which will flash diverse colors of light on the facade. The investment for the project is Rs 19 lakh and the renovated facade opposite Swaminarayan temple would be equipped with lighting to further enhance its aesthetics, the official informed.
Professional lighting expert, Rakesh Kumar Sen remarked that the railways must choose mild colors for lighting as gaudy and more number of colors will not be attractive to travelers.
