Electro Standards Laboratories Introduces 4139EU and 4137EU Power Supplies

Electro Standards Laboratories announced that it is now providing 4139EU and 4137EU Fiber 232 Models with European power supplies.

The HP VersaLink Fiber to RS232 Converters are utilized to link fiber optic connected terminals to a controller that have an RS-232 interface port. The devices are ideal for casino type network applications.

Converting to a fiber optic communication standard enables transmission of data that is not susceptible to electromagnetic or electrostatic fields. The ports of the terminals are also protected from the damages that occur due to the differences existing between the ports.

The HP Fiber to RS232 Converters change the RS-232 Serial Communication Interface to the HP Versatile Link Plastic Core Cable and provides complete galvanic isolation between the connected units. This enables optical fiber data transfer to be used by the equipment that has an RS-232 interface. Both the models feature a maximum data transfer rate of 120 Kbps. The Model 4139EU utilizes a DB9 connector and the Model 4137EU has an RJ45 connector for RS232 connection.
