NDSsi to Exhibit Diagnostic Imaging Display System at RSNA 2010

NDS Surgical Imaging (NDSsi), a medical technology company, has introduced a new 10MP diagnostic imaging display that has a non-reflective glass for clear viewing. The 30’’ widescreen Dome S10 shows two 5MP images to provide back-to-back chest wall readings.

The company will exhibit the DOME S10 display system at RSNA 2010, in Chicago, from 28 November to 3 December 2010.

The imaging display supports 8-bit and 10-bit grayscale image data via standard interfaces, which removes the necessity of proprietary libraries. The Dome S10 has a resolution of 4096 x 2560 and features mammography-specific functions such as automated reminders and scheduling for annual, monthly, and daily quality control testing.

The display utilizes intelligent engineering to provide an efficient design, thereby removing mechanical fans, and minimizing the total power consumption. In addition, the Dome S10 uses the RightCheck front-sensor technology that offers maximum validation and remote testing, and confirms the DICOM conformance accurately and quickly.
