Manufacturer of optical components, LightPath Technologies has enhanced the laser tool market in Asia by adding two new lenses to the aspheric laser tool lens family. The company has also enhanced its core competencies by adding value-added services such as blackened rims and lens shaping.
LightPath's value-added services offer assembly options and latest form factor choices that help customers to decrease costs for aligning and mounting the optical systems. The first lens, 354064, is a cost-efficient laser device lens that is likely to replace the spherical doublet lenses. The 354064 lens delivers the same performance as the spherical triplet lenses. The second lens, 354306, targets the competitive lenses directly in the existing designs.
LightPath’s President, Jim Gaynor stated that the new value-added services and lenses fortify the company’s potentials to address the specific customer needs. He added that by launching the new products, the company would extend the laser tool market by nearly three times.
