New picoREGEN Laser System from High Q Laser

High Q Laser has launched the new picoREGEN high-energy ps-laser that offers maximum pulse energies of 1 J.

The company is a provider of solid-state ultrafast lasers. The picoREGEN laser is based on the company’s picoREGEN SCIENCE, which is a regenerative amplifier offering pulse energy of up to 3 mJ, with 12 ps pulse duration. The picoREGEN laser can function from a single pulse mode, at a maximum repetition rate of 1 kHz.

The laser system’s pulse energy can be enhanced by utilizing an extra Post Amplification Module. Two types of Post Amplification Module are available – lamp pumped and diode pumped. The diode pumped module enhances the pulse energy to 200 mJ, at repetition rate of 200 Hz. The lamp pumped module offers pulse energy to up to 1 J, at a maximum repetition rate of 10 Hz. The maximum pulse energies available differ with pulse duration and need to be modified as per individual requirements.
