i3 Group to Launch US Business at 2010 FTTH Conference

The i3 Group’s US division, i3 America has announced that it will be a Platinum Sponsor for the 2010 FTTH Conference and Expo, being held at the Venetian Hotel-Resort-Casino, Las Vegas. The conference will help in introducing the i3 Group and i3 America to over 2,000 industry player attendees.

i3 Group uses patented technologies and techniques to deploy the optical fiber infrastructure over wastewater networks. This considerably minimizes the disruption and high costs, which are related with the conventional deployment techniques. The Fibrecity Network of i3 America is an open-access platform, which offers economical FTTH connectivity. Currently, the Fibrecity networks are being deployed in Australia, Scotland, and England.

The company has started working with many cities throughout the US to construct Fibrecity networks, which will offer access to affordable ultra high-speed broadband. i3 America intends to publicly announce the first Fibrecity deployment in the US in few weeks.
