Samsung has launched the new monochrome SCX-4601 laser MFP that can only operate in combination with a print server or a computer. The device is an ideal solution for users who have high printing loads. The SCX-4601 MFP takes only 3 sec to print a page, hence, delivering a speed of 20 pages per minute.

The MFP delivers a solid ink fill with no gaps in the print. The SCX-4601 MFP can also print basic images such as embedded images in presentations or documents. It features a manual duplex feature for the driver settings.
The copier function in the MFP can be accessed using a one-touch button. The user can set the reduction/enlargement, number of copies, and toner intensity. It has a common ID copy feature, which lets the user to copy the back and front of an ID card, without having any alignment issue. The copier function also offers 4-up and 2-up copying facility.
The scanner function of the MFP delivers a resolution of 1200 x 1200 dpi, and includes an OCR feature. The MFP is offered with two toner options – high yield toner that delivers 2,500 pages, and standard toner that delivers 1,500 pages.
