AMS Technologies Introduces New Line of 840 nm SLEDs

AMS Technologies introduces EXALOS AG's new line of 840 nm Superluminescent Light Emitting Diodes (SLEDs).

These SLEDs typically exhibit 5 mW optical power in a single mode fiber and 48 nm, 3-dB spectral bandwidth. The standard light sources are delivered in a 14-pin butterfly housing with a monitor diode and a fixed connection / angled physical contact connector.

The parts conform to the Bellcor GR-468-CORE standard and can be integrated into OCT systems, data transfer units and fiber optic sensors for civil structure monitoring as well as for aerospace navigation.
