Telcom & Data declares the launch of the industry's first LED notification devices.

Wheelock Exceder LED Horn and Strobe

Wheelock’s Exceder Series has been expanded with new additions such as LED horn strobes, horns and strobes is a compact single gang configuration.

The Exceder LED Series of Wheelock is the first to have its public and private mode life safety applications to be UL listed. Wheelock's patented technology helps achieve industry's minimal current draw. Energy savings of up to 52 % than competitive models can be achieved. LED acts as a strobe light source in which high efficiency optics is integrated to ensure low power utilization. Several appliances can be achieved on the notification appliance circuit with fewer power supplies.

According to President of Telcom & Data, Ricardo Trinidad, Wheelock will continue to deliver a number of novel life safety solutions on the existing market, focusing on the need to protect, alert and inform. The Exceder Series LED products ensure the customers have increased cost and energy efficiency. This product is a combination of improved life safety and increased energy efficiency.

Available in a sleek, contemporary low-profile configuration, the Wheelock Exceder LED horn strobes, strobes and horns attribute one of the industry's smallest footprints. This product provides the installers with multiple features such as several candela settings, four convenient mounting options, a single-gang design, and options to alter settings without a single tool, completely designed to reduce total cost of ownership, thereby promoting energy-efficiency.

The Exceder LED products comply with stringent synchronizing standards to be adopted with Wheelock Power Supplies, Wheelock’s DSM Sync Modules, and SAFEPATH products.
