Lumerica, a supplier of energy-efficient LED lighting solutions, recently declared that it has purchased the LED lighting business from LumaSmart Technology International.
LumaSmart’s eco-friendly lighting fixtures will bring dramatic improvements to the product offerings of Lumerica. These fixtures have been designed to utilize less energy, generate light with superior quality, and are more durable than equivalent products. LumaSmart intends achieving the markets of commercial, automotive, industrial, defense and transportation.
According to the President of Lumerica, Justin Palm, by acquiring LumaSmart’s LED product line; the company will continue to achieve a higher position in LED lighting industries, benefiting industrial and commercial customers. In addition, this LED product line acquisition from LumaSmart will provide high quality and affordable lighting products that will serve extensive applications. Customers will now have more access to U.S.A.- made quality products.
Though the terms of the acquisition were not yet fully revealed, LumaSmart will remain a major supplier to Lumerica, with a powerful number of contract manufacturing customers.
Palm further added that LumaSmart will continue to be responsible for Lumerica’s success. By presenting customers with unprecedented lighting value, the company anticipates achieving market share.
