LumaSmart Technology International has announced that Underwriters Laboratory has given the UL Certified Seal to three new LumaSmart products, the LumaSmart Half Cutoff Wallpack, the LumaSmart Parking Garage / Deck Light and the LumaSmart Parking Lot / Area Light.
The certification assures that the products have been found to be effective and safe after being subject to tests by the safety science company. The environmentally-friendly LED solutions are CFC and mercury-free and have been designed to provide consistent lighting with less heat at reduced costs than traditional light sources.
The LumaSmart Half Cutoff Wallpack is available in 175/200 W fixtures at reduced cost. The LumaSmart Parking Garage/Deck Light comes in 150/175 W. It can replace high pressure metal halide and sodium fixtures and is suitable for garages, parking decks, tunnels, storage areas and walkways. The LumaSmart Parking Lot/Area Light comes in 400/250/150 W fixtures and is ideal for parking lots, shopping centers, tennis courts, residential and commercial complexes.
The LumaSmart LED products have an average service life of 50,000 h. The projected return on investment can be availed in less than two to three years of installation based on the usage. The LED fixtures can also be used in wet locations.
