US based JUVA Skin & Laser Centre has introduced the Smarlipo Triplex which is the first laser lipolysis to use triple wavelength.
The system uses a solid state laser in three wavelengths of 1064nm, 1320nm and 1440nm. These three wavelengths can either be used separately or combined according to the requirements of the body. Since three wavelengths can be used alternatively or together, the output of energy is also controlled. This in turn leads to lesser time taken in the procedure, lesser bleeding, lesser injury and faster recovery. The US Food and Drug Administration has approved the Smartlipo Triplex as an energy device using the highest power levels to remove excess fat.
Cynosure which specialises in developing and marketing aesthetic treatments involving light or laser developed the Smartlipo Triplex. The device also employs the ThermaView, SmartSense and ThermaGuide systems which are also developed by Cynosure, to prevent excessive treatment through latest motion sensing technology and integrated temperature.
