The EPL-48-4L-LED light fitting from Magnalight is suitable for offshore marine applications, petrochemical processing, paint spray booths, and wherever a completely compliant, effective and long-lasting explosion-proof lighting solution is required. The light fixture is highly robust and is suitable for industrial and marine applications due to a corrosion-resistant casing made of an aluminum alloy that does not have copper, and four LED lamps arranged inside heat resistant and impact Pyrex tubes. The LED lamps provide more light when compared to fluorescent lamps yet utilize just 50% of the energy and are extremely resistant to impact vibrations. LED tubes do not need a ballast like florescent lamps ensuring reduction in weight of the fixture and maintenance. The standard mounting device for LED lamps is a unistrut mount or a surface mount bracket. The design of the LED fittings enables its operation in voltages ranging from 120 VAC to 277 VAC for extended flexibility and use with a range of power options. Magnalight also provides low voltage configurations, which are compatible with 12-24 V DC current, if preferred. These LED fittings possess a temperature rating T6 and a operational life rating of 50,000 hours. Screw-on type end caps that incorporate O-ring seals make maintenance and re-lamping easier, while corrosion resistant materials and finish, impact resistant Pyrex tube casings, and LED lamps ensure a light fitting that provides overall improvements in durability, efficiency, and functional costs.
