Cobolt Launches Single Longitudinal Mode Lasers with True Fiber Pigtailed Option

The Cobolt 04-01 single longitudinal mode laser series from Cobolt will now have a true fiber pigtailed option.

An SM/PM fiber is fixed within the package using HTCure technology to deliver a stable output of less than 3% for more than 8 h and an exceptional polarization extinction ratio of more than 100:1.

Intended for use with FC/APC connector and standard SM/PM fiber, the true fiber pigtailed option can also be used for OEM applications where the connector and the fiber can be customized. Output powers are specified from the fiber and range from 25 to 200 mW. The Cobalt lasers can be used for fluorescence analysis and Raman spectroscopy applications.
