Lumen Dynamics Unveils LED Light Meter for UV Curing Assembly Processes

Lumen Dynamics has released a new LED light meter that is suitable for measuring irradiance and power from a UV LED light source at the cure site.

The OmniCure LED light meter is calibrated at intervals of 10 nm between 320 and 700 nm and allows the user to choose a wavelength from a LED light source to attain precise measurements.

The LED light meter is a crucial validation and measurement device for UV curing assembly processes. It is developed with a very thin profile sensor, which fits inside a fixture. The device is highly adaptable for numerous assembly manufacturing processes. It can conveniently measure the narrow beam patterns by utilizing the peak hold function.

The OmniCure LED light meter features a calibration process to measure numerous discrete wavelengths and is manufactured with one sensor to measure the peak irradiance. It captures the LED source’s spectral distribution for accurate and consistent measurements. The device is calibrated to industry standards that are traceable to NRC and NIST.
