Cognex, manufacturer of machine vision systems, has launched a new vision system that provides a high resolution of 2448x2048 pixels. The In-Sight 5605 vision system has a swift imaging speed for defect identification and high accurate gauging and enables a huge field of view.

The 5 megapixel vision system makes it convenient for the vision devices to precisely unearth the aspects of interest on large-sized packages, products and parts. It features an IP67-rated hardware and high-quality vision devices for inspecting, identifying, measuring and aligning purposes. The system delivers an increased resolution of 2.6X, when compared to other vision systems.
The In-Sight 5605 vision solution supports Gigabit Ethernet communication for transferring the images swiftly.
