Nikon Metrology has introduced a new ShuttlePix P-400R digital microscope. The microscope is ideal for simple measurement, observation, inspection and for recording high-resolution images.
Portable Digital Microscope
The ShuttlePix P-400R acts as a handheld microscope for on-site sample analysis by shooting high-resolution images conveniently and quickly. In addition, the digital microscope interfaces with a motorized stand for stationary use.
A user can print, measure, display or control images with the 17” touch screen monitor fitted with the microscope. In addition, the ShuttlePix microscope connects to a laptop or standard PC, while operating 3D image reconstruction software. The device offers a 20x zoom with a 20x to 400x magnification range on the touch screen monitor. The zoom head of the microscope comprises a 4-section LED ring illumination for optimal lighting.
The microscope stand is fitted with a motorized Z that does not necessitate a PC for controlling. Nikon used its technological expertise in optical technology and the digital image processing technology to develop the ShuttlePix P-400R.
