G700SE Digital Imaging Camera from Ricoh Americas

Provider of document management solutions, Ricoh Americas has launched the new G700SE solution-enabled (SE) digital camera. The G700SE is the enhanced version of the Ricoh G500SE model.

The G700SE camera provides a resolution of 12 megapixels, with a 4x digital zoom, and 5x optical zoom. The camera has a flash range of up to 10 m, and a wide-angle zoom lens of 28 - 140 mm.

The G700SE camera uses laser barcode reader that allows quick linear barcode recognition, which makes the G700SE suitable for various operations, such as facility maintenance of water, gas, and electric utilities. The camera also has capabilities of wireless data communication and Bluetooth.

The Scandisk card feature of the G700SE offers password-enabled access, thereby providing high security. The camera is resistant to dust and water, and utilizes Global Positioning System (GPS) features, offering an enhanced accuracy between 6 and 3 m. The GPS option offers reliable direction and position information. The G700SE camera can transfer data online to different mapping applications, including ESRI’s ArcGIS, Google Earth, and Google Maps.
