New Pulsed Nd:YAG Lasers from JK Lasers

Manufacturer of advanced industrial lasers, JK Lasers, has expanded its pulsed Nd:YAG laser portfolio with the addition of two new products, the JK150PS and the JK80PS lasers. The lasers, manufactured for industrial processing, are suitable for automotive and electronics components and for small medical applications.

The JK150PS and the JK80PS lasers offer increased process control for fast and accurate cutting and welding applications, and integrate high peak powers and enhanced beam quality to provide high flexibility.

The JK150PS delivers peak powers of 5 kW through a 150¼ m fibre, while the JK80PS delivers peak powers of 3 kW through a 100¼ m fibre. These fibers include FCMS (Fiber Continuity Monitoring System), Pre-Aligned (PIPA) technology and JK Luminator Plug-In.

Both lasers have a ±0.5% pulse to pulse stability and are equipped with the JK LaserView software suite and Pulse On Demand (POD). The JK150PS and the JK80PS lasers are suitable for scanner-based delivery systems since the LaserView features a scanner control software.

The lasers are also supported with advanced features such as high pulse shaping abilities for tight process control, shutter interface for rapid response and fiber optic beam delivery with reflection protection.
