The U.S. DOE (Department of Energy) has sponsored the Lighting Facts label to enhance the quality of LED lighting systems. The label offers a standard format to list down vital performance elements.

With a color temperature of 3000 K and 2700 K, the R16 and the R30 LED replacement lamps have been specifically developed to meet the new specifications of the ENERGY STAR Program for Integral LED lamps. The ENERGY STAR certification for the LED lamps will be effective from August 31, 2010.

The Chief Executive Officer of Nexxus Lighting, Mike Bauer, stated that the company is delighted to introduce the GEN2 LED lamps into the commercial lighting market. Providing data and third party testing such as Lighting Facts Labels, IES, LM-80 and LM-79 files on new lamps ensure customers about the quality of Nexxus lighting products.
