SPI Lasers, which designs and manufactures fiber lasers, recently exhibited its products in the Laser World of Photonics event held in China. The latest inclusions to its product line up were the OEM fiber lasers for multi-kW systems, and 500W R4 fiber lasers, both belonging to the redPower brand.
Sigma Design’s CG3310M and CG3210M HPNA Fast Ethernet-Over-Coax (Fast EoC) chipset has been roped in by ISO certified Alliance Broadband Services for its IP-based services. Alliance Broadband Services is an Internet Service Provider based in Eastern India, which caters to both corporate and residential customers.

Philips Lumileds has introduced the new high-voltage and high-performance LUXEON H 50-2 LEDs. Having a typical efficacy of over 800 LPW, the LUXEON H50-2 brings 27% more efficacy to the existing LUXEON H 50V LED, in addition to offering 30% more luminous flux and increasing lumens per watt by 10% than similar products.
STMicroelectronics, a worldwide provider of semiconductor and imaging technologies, recently declared that it has entered into a strategic agreement with a Grenoble, a France-based MicroOLED company that develops and distributes OLEDs. St also declared a minority equity investment of € 6 million in the company.
