Larson Electronics has announced the release of a rugged and compact LED emitter designed to provide a high power lighting solution for installation on vehicles and equipment where space is limited. The LEDP1X10WRE LED Light Bar is built to withstand demanding environmental conditions and features 860 lumens of light output from a fixture measuring only 4.5 inches tall, by 3.8 inches deep.
The Larson Electronics LEDP1X10WRE LED light emitter outperforms comparable halogen lamps yet is more durable, takes up less space, uses less energy, and produces higher quality light output. This small LED light emitter is constructed of extruded aluminum with an unbreakable polycarbonate lens and is sealed against water and dust intrusion. IP68 rated to three meters of submersion, this LED light bar can withstand extremes of temperatures and weather conditions, and is highly resistant to damage from impacts and vibrations. The beam is whiter than comparable incandescent lamps, and has a specially designed reflector allowing it to reach 650 feet long. Measuring 4.5 inches tall, by 3.8 inches deep and fitted with a single ½ inch diameter mounting stud, this compact light is easy to install and can be attached just about anywhere a ½ inch hole can be drilled. An included trunnion style mounting bracket also allows the operator to adjust the lamp vertically once installed for precise beam control. Built in voltage sensing circuitry allows use with any voltage between 12 and 32 VDC, and heat is actively managed as well for maximum performance. This compact LED light is ideal for vehicles, ATVs, boats, and just about any vehicle where 12 or 24 VDC current is available and an excellent choice for military, law enforcement, hunting, and industrial applications.
