Canon U.S.A., Inc., a leader in digital imaging solutions, is proud to announce a new location for the Healthcare Optics Research Laboratory in Cambridge, Massachusetts.
The research laboratory is approximately 13,600 square feet and will be the home of skilled employees dedicated to developing biomedical optical imaging and medical robotics technologies with the ultimate goal of bringing to market medical devices for a variety of applications. The areas the technology will address include detection of cardiovascular disease, brain-functional imaging, robotics-assisted surgery and miniature endoscopy. Canon U.S.A. is working in conjunction with its parent company, Canon Inc., on this endeavor.
