Panasonic Unveils Single MOS Full HD Remote Head Camera Type for Medical Application

Panasonic has introduced the GP-KH232 series. This offering marks the new 1/3 type MOS full HD remote head camera system. Specifically designed for surgical use, the remote head camera generates unique 1080p full-HD image quality. This camera enables surgical microscopes to be upgraded easily from SD to HD.

With high-resolution features and true 16x9 multi format, the GP-KH232 lightweight and compact camera delivers vibrant and true-color images. Featuring 12-axis matrix control with independent color adjustment, precise color reproduction can be achieved. The dynamic range features provide excellent color and details for contrasted scenes in dark and bright operating areas as well.

The highly-featured GP-KH232H remote head camera serves wide range of medical applications such as industrial inspections, microscopy, research imaging, industrial endoscopy, ENT, ophthalmology, pathology lab applications, neurosurgery, and machine visions.

The GP-KH232CU HD camera control unit features analog & digital HD outputs and concurrent standard definition outputs. Using Multi-function controls, expanded dynamic range, gain selection, and scene file selection can be achieved.

The multiple camera head cable lengths of camera control unit make the camera ideal for varied application. Extending to 50 ft, the cable ensures long and flexible as well as short space operation.

The Panasonic GP-KH232 Series features 900 TV lines horizontal resolution, compact camera head measuring 120 (W) x36 (H) X157 (d) MM (4-3/4 (W) x1-13/32 (H) x6-3/16 in, internal or external synchronization, 1/3 type Full HD single MOS sensor, Multi-format: (59.94Hz) 1080/59.94p, 59.94i, 29.97p (sF), 720/59.94p, 480/59.94p, 59.94i (50Hz) 1080/50p, 50i, 25p (sF), 720/50p, 576/50p, 50i , Camera Head cables in 2 m (6.6ft.), 4 m (13.1ft.) 6 m (19.7 ft.) &15 m (49.2 ft.) lengths, and includes multiple video outputs such as HDMI, RGB/YPbPr, S-video.
