Lusio Essentials Bay Series Fixtures Receive DLC Certification

Lusio Solid-State Lighting, a supplier of novel industrial and commercial LED lighting solutions, recently declared that the DesignLights Consortium (DLC) Qualified Products List (QPL) has been supplemented with the latest addition of 16 Essentials Bay Series fixtures. Lusio fixtures within the ‘High-Bay and Low-Bay fixtures for Commercial and Industrial Buildings’ category have been approved by the DLC.

The DLC is a consortium of regional energy efficiency organizations and utility companies that intend promoting the advantages of efficient lighting in commercial buildings. The main objective of the DLC is to assure that energy–efficient, high-quality lighting design becomes mandatory in any commercial lighting installation.

The QPL’s LED fixtures including product type categories that are not covered by ENERGY STAR at present may be entitled for state and utility energy efficiency program incentives.

According to the President and CEO of LightWild and Lusio Solid-State Lighting, Tom Stafford said that the fixtures will be assessed by the DLC based on stringent performance criteria. The Lusio Essentials Bay Series fixtures have achieved this certification. Lighting is a major factor that promotes energy efficiency in buildings. The high lumen output fixtures in Lusio Essentials Bay Series serves to be an ideal alternative to conventional fluorescent and HID lighting sources and provide significant energy efficiency and rapid payback periods.

Besides receiving DLC approval, Lusio SSL fixtures also earned Lighting Facts Certification from the U.S. Department of Energy. These fixtures are RoHS compliant, UL and CE listed, and EMI/FCC tested.
