NSG Precision Cells Adds New Line of UV VIS Spectrophotometers to its Product Line

NSG Precision Cells has unveiled a special array of UV/VIS spectrophotometers that can be used both in the VIS and UV range. Japan-made optics ensures superior standards with high quality results, at affordable prices.

New Line of UV VIS Spectrophotometers

Unique UV/VIS spectrum with absorption wavelength and molar extension have been included in all compounds and are therefore effective for detecting various chemicals as well as their intensity. Analysis of UV/VIS is an extensive technique used in applied life sciences, research, pharmaceuticals, chemistry, basic research and quality control.

Full-spectrum instruments are capable of scanning UV/VIS spectrum. The new NSG UV/VIS spectrophotometer line provides machines that operate in ultraviolet (UV) as well as visible (VIS) range. The line also includes a wide range of single beam and double beam machines with multiple features. The new line includes more than five with double beam scanning and at least ten single beam scanning spectrophotometers.

Advanced UV VIS spectrophotometers include extensive wavelength range from 190 to 1100 nm. The UV spectrophotometer bandwidths can vary from 0.5- 4 nm, based on the model. The stability range is ±0.0005 A/h for double beam scanning, while for single beam scanning the stability ranges are ±0.001 A/h, ±0.002 A/h and ±0.002 A/h.

The NSG’s UV/VIS spectrophotometers provide high quality stray light performance in <= 0.5% T range, surpassing UV and VIS calibration standards. In addition, the new line of UV spectrophotometers also ensures increased precision powerful PC software operation, PC controlled wave length drive, a large LCD screen, a USB port, and a stand-alone or intelligent type based on the model.

NSG also provides a dual light stray calibration standard for spectrophotometer calibration in testing the stray light performance in UV as well as in VIS range. Each time, a different type of liquid filter will be used to test the stray light performance in two or three areas of the VIS range and three areas of the UV range.
