Magnalight Unveils Stanchion Mount LED Boat Light

Magnalight of Larson Electronics has declared the launch of a LED Golight, a stanchion-mounted lighting fixture comprising standard red and green navigation lights.

The remote controlled GL-9110 LED Golight generates intense spotlight beam which is effective for smaller boats, wherein power saving is a major problem. This LED unit encompasses wireless remote control for effective operation beyond 150 ft and a Perko pole mount red and green running lights.

This GL-9110 Golight LED boat light serves to be a versatile LED spotlight for boaters. Magnalight’s remote controlled Golight is equipped with a LED emitter lamp that generates more than 2,500 lm and a light beam stretching up to 900 ft. This LED boat light is also available in floodlight style and is capable of powering 36 W at 3 A with extended lamp life up to 50,000 h. The new LED unit is made up of UV and weather resistant materials and has been safely enclosed within a covering that is compatible with marine saltwater requirements. The 6-, 12-, and 24-in long Perko stanchion mount options enable simplified deployment of LED units to boats of varied sizes. The stanchion mount includes a basal twist locking collar, enabling easy installation and dismantling, and its red and green lights enable independent operation and power source. The in-built nylon Perko socket ensures efficient installation on all watercraft.

The remote-controlled Golight LED boat spotlight is available in a waterproof wireless handheld remote control that allows light function beyond 150 ft. It also enables both vertical and horizontal light movement with speed control. The incorporated standard DC power with a 16- foot light gauge cord fitted to cigarette plug ensures simple power connections. Installation options include battery clamp, different ring terminal, and connector equipped cords.
